Kildare Brewing Company Expands Across Irish On-Trade
Local craft brewery targets 30+ venues with unfiltered, unpasteurised range

Kildare Brewing Company (KBC), the independent craft brewery based in Sallins, has announced an ambitious expansion plan to bring its range of unfiltered, unpasteurised beers to 30+ new venues across Leinster.

The brewery, which currently supplies venues including The Silken Thomas, Cliff at Lyons, and Killashee Hotel, produces five core beers: Chapel Lane Lager, Railway Heist Red Ale, Soldiers Island Pale Ale, Electric Juice IPA, and Low Voltage Session Pale.

“Every batch we brew is unfiltered and unpasteurised — that’s non-negotiable,” said Barry Flanagan, founder of Kildare Brewing Company. “We’re not trying to compete with the big breweries on volume. We’re competing on flavour, freshness, and the fact that we’re genuinely local.”

KBC’s expansion coincides with growing consumer demand for locally produced craft beer. According to Drinks Ireland, the Irish craft beer market grew by [X]% in 2025, with on-trade consumption driving much of the growth.

The brewery offers a first-order incentive for new accounts including free staff tasting sessions, POS materials, branded tap handles, and a 30-day buyback guarantee.

About Kildare Brewing Company

Founded in Sallins, Co. Kildare, KBC brews five core beers using traditional methods. All beers are unfiltered and unpasteurised, available in 30L and 50L kegs as well as 330ml cans.

Pitch 01
Food & Drink Journalist
Subject: Kildare's craft brewery — unfiltered beer, unfiltered story
Hi [Name], I'm reaching out because [their publication] has been covering some great stories about Ireland's craft drinks scene. Kildare Brewing Company is a small-batch brewery in Sallins — we brew 5 beers, all unfiltered and unpasteurised. We supply venues like [stockist names] and we're expanding across Leinster. I'd love to invite you for a brewery tour and tasting — or I can send a mixed case for you to try at home. Whatever's easier. Happy to chat about the craft beer market in Ireland, the challenges of being a small brewery, or just talk beer. Cheers, Barry
Pitch 02
Local / Regional Media

Hi [Name], Local angle for you — Kildare Brewing Company is expanding from our base in Sallins, supplying craft beer to pubs, hotels, and restaurants across the county. Available for interview, photos at the brewery, or I can send product shots and a press pack. Thanks, Barry
Pitch 03
Business / Startup Media
Subject: From brewhouse to boardroom — scaling a craft brewery in Ireland
Hi [Name], Kildare Brewing Company is a case study in scaling a craft drinks business in Ireland — managing Aldi supply, independent stockists, production capacity, and the BRC certification journey. Happy to share the numbers: revenue trajectory, channel strategy, the economics of craft beer, and what it takes to compete with multinationals on a micro-brewery budget. Would make a good piece for [publication section/column]. Barry Flanagan, Founder
